Bridie Murphy

A native of Co. Down, Bridie has been active in the Irish scene in Auckland for s number of years. A former secretary of the Auckland Irish Society, Bridie has a keen interest in all things Irish. Over the past decade Bridie has been a member of some of Auckland and New Zealand's foremost Irish Bands including "The Crack" and "Cuchulainn". a fine singer and bodhran player, Bridie can switch from traditional airs to modern acts such as "The Corrs" with ease.   Influences: Mary Black - Sinead O' Connor - Patsy Cline - Dolores Keane - Chrissie Hynde
